Sebago, Maine

Unit Size(s): 1 BR

Overview

From sunny yet crisp weather to unique New England attractions, Maine is unlike most east coast destinations. Whether you're out and about or enjoying the sunset at your cottage, bring your jacket for those cooler evenings. During the day, temperatures average in the low 80s even in the middle of the summer! To enjoy this mild-weathered getaway, Travel Advantage Network offers The Shoppe.

The Shoppe is one of two intimate guest cottages located on a farm on Sebago Lake, which is nestled between the Atlantic Ocean and the foothills of the White Mountains. This particular cottage backs up to the lake, with dock access! And, Nason's Beach, is a quick walk up the road for swimming. Enjoy the view of the lake with your morning coffee and afternoon meals on the screened porch. The Shoppe is also equipped with a full kitchen, fans, television, radio, VCR, iron/board, outdoor gas grill and a picnic table.

Local Attractions

Sebago Lake abounds with natural beauty and water activities, such as boating and fishing from your own boat or a charter. Neighboring towns offer many shops and restaurants for relaxing days with locals. Nearby, fun and learning go hand in hand with many attractions, including the Southworth Planetarium at the University of Southern Maine and the Children's Museum. Both attractions are in Portland, less than twenty miles away. Or, consider visiting Funtown and Splashtown in Saco. Together, these amusement parks were voted the number one tourist attraction in Maine. Just a short drive from your TAN vacation home is Seacoast Fun Park in Windham, where you may enjoy a family go-kart race or a friendly game of miniature golf.
